From Anxious To Calm In 4 Easy Steps

There is a simple technique I call Heart Breath that is amazingly powerful at retraining your body to be calm.

What causes anxiety is the normal response to look out for any trace of danger.

Your body gets used to get stressed when you continually feel stressed out.

It’s like anything you do every day. And your body becomes used to it.  

If you happen to take a daily nap each day, your body will get used to taking a nap during the same time every single day.

Your body will react badly if you haven’t had your daily dose of coffee in the morning if you always start your day drinking it.

And if you feel anxious a lot, your body will actually feel uncomfortable when you are calm.   

Whenever your body is used to feeling anxious, the anxiety cause is that being anxious has become a habit.

You need to train your mind and body to become calm and comfortable

It is an easy and effective treatments for anxiety.  It is called the Heart Breath.

It has four steps.

Step One – Find a Heart Connection

First, find an image or memory that makes you feel good when you think of it. This could be a loving or joyful memory of being with a baby or pet. Or any serene place you’d love to go to. Or any scene or memory that makes you feel relaxed and happy.

Step Two – Stay Focused on Your Breathing

Find a very comfortable position. Be conscious to your breathing. For a count of six, breathe.
Don’t slow down you breath.  Just notice it and count as you breathe in and out.

Step Three – Breathe From Your Heart

Imagine that your breathing comes in and out of your heart area. Still counting to six, stay focused and imagine that your breathing comes in and out from your heart area.

Step Four – Connecting your Breath and Your Heart

Imagine that positive image you’ve created in the first step while breathing in. As you breath out, silently say the words, Calm and Connected.

Continue this process of Heart Breath for seven minutes

You can do this technique on a daily basis to help you train your mind and body to be calm.

Anxiety Can Be A Tough Issue To Resolve.

THE PROBLEM

It’s slippery.  Unlike anger or fear, it doesn’t have a clear and obvious cause or stimulus. Sometimes it’s difficult to figure out what causes anxiety.

It can be frightening.  Often, we don’t want to look closely at the cause of our for fear that it will… well, scare us!  Even though it may sound silly, you may even fear that by looking for the cause of , what we find might scare us even more than the we’re already dealing with.

It’s low grade.  Anxiety can be like a low grade illness.  It’s always just under the surface, even when we are working, sleeping and going about our life.  Unless you take steps to cure it, low-grade anxiety can stay with you your whole life.

It can be damaging. In addition to decreasing your energy, anxiety can interfere with your health. It puts stress on all your organ systems.  It  accelerates aging.

It dims your brilliance.  When you’re anxious, you can’t function at your best.  And when you feel constant anxiety, you can’t love fully, feel and express your creativity.  You can’t think clearly.  Your patience is tested.  You aren’t yourself.

THE SOLUTION

Skillful techniques can be used to cure anxiety.  I have a two-step method for conquering anxiety.
Step One – Look Your Anxiety Head-on

To prepare, find some paper and something to write with. Sit down, quiet your thoughts, and tune in to your anxious feelings.
First, notice your anxious thoughts. Notice the beliefs fueling the thoughts. These are related to your anxiety cause.

Now tune into your emotions.  Can you label them?
Third, try to notice any physical sensations of anxiety you may be having.

List what you observed.

Step Two – Do Emotional Freedom Tapping

This anxiety cure is a simple process of saying a statement, while tapping on one of the points.  Energetic blocks that have kept the pattern of anxiety operating in your mind and body can be broken up by tapping on the energy points while in an anxious state.
